MLP-Memories of my Past: Chapter 6.

Holly was drawing at the living room while Emerald and Twilight were talking at the couch. They seemed to be getting along more often in that last two weeks. Talking about how she has grown and stuff like that. But Holly didn't care too much, she just thought that it was nice for her mom to have some company while father was out doing something.

And that poked her little smart head. Dad was taking too long for return. So she decided to go outside and search for him.

The little white Pegasus passed to the Carrousel Boutique, which was right next to her house, and saw her dad playing fight with Price next to the river.

"P-Please… HAHAHA! Stop" Price shouted while laughing "I-I can't… breath!".

She hid behind a bush and started to watch them.

Price was talking about how much he thought that her father was awesome. She knew that, because he had already told her that he wanted his father to be just like Knight.

"Can you pretend to be my father? Just for this night?" she overheard Price asking.

She thought that it would be nice of Knight if he accepted, after all Price never met the heat of a true father and…

"You…" she heard Price and looked over the bush to see what was going on.

She saw Price's eyes melting into tears and so was her dad's eyes. 'What has happened?" she thought.

"I'm your father Price." Knight said.

The whole world seemed to slow down. That phrase echoed into her mind and reached her little clever brain. By the time she realized that Knight was speaking the truth him and Price were already hugging each other.

"Hi dad…" Price said to Knight and the black stallion replied with a sincere smile.

Holly's eyes filled with tears and she ran out of her hiding place towards them.

----------------------------------Back to the Past----------------------------------------

The day after the Nightmare Night rose and the sun was high up in the sky. Although the day was beautiful nopony would dare to get out of their houses.

Guards were everywhere and the ponies have hidden themselves into the city. The streets of Canterlot were empty and a rose bubble of magic sealed the city from attackers.

Celestia was being cared by her finest doctors with some help of Princess Cadance, who just arrived with her husband, while Luna told guards what to do. The Capitan of the Royal guard, also Twilight's brother, Shining Armor, set his best stallions and mares to guard the castle and to watch over the streets of Canterlot.

Celestia wasn't neglecting Ponyville, she sent a full detachment of soldiers to care for the little town, even though she thought that the attackers wouldn't pay any attention to them. At least that was what she hoped.

"All guards at their post your Highness!" Shining Armor said "The protection spell is at its maximum and nothing will invade Canterlot.".

"I hope you're right…" Knight said "Because I think I know who we are going to face… And she's not fun at all…".

"Not fun?" Pinkie Pie asked "Well she needs to relax a bit then!".

"Shugarcube…" Applejack warned "Not now…".

Cadance turned her attention to Knight's expression. He looked worried.

"You know her…" she said "So who is she?".

Knight turned to his friends. He saw Trip holding a spear with a smile 'Ready to battle as always' Knight thought. Skipper was at the white pony's side, but he wasn't too excited like his friend. Dana was with Twilight reading some books about protection and repulsion spells. Rainbow Dash was trying to get Fluttershy out of a closet and Pinkie Pie was just laughing at them. And Rarity was fancying the decorations of the room.

The only ones who looked concerned about what was happening were him, Emerald, the
Princesses, Shining Armor, and Applejack. But he was more then concerned. He was freaking out.

"It's complicated…" he said.

"We don't have much time" Luna said "So you need to get us a summary.".

Right to the point. Knight liked that on a leader.

"Ok…" he took air and started "I'm from another kingdom, southwest from here. Its name is
Auroram, the shining kingdom, well, it was a shining kingdom once… After our queen get corrupted by those… Centaurs…".

A collective "gasp" was heard in the hall. But Knight continued.

"They offered power and she accepted…" he explained "You don't know a pony until he or she gets true power… I was just a colt back there… But I had to fend for myself… The centaurs killed my father. My big sister and I fled, but it wasn't enough. So I left Auroram and promised to never look back, but my sister stood there, fighting with the rebels… She stayed and I fled, when she needed me the most…".

All the ponies in the room were looking at him and all of them saw just a lonely tear coming out of his eye.

"The stallion of a single tear…" Celestia said while putting her hoof on Knight's shoulder.

"I fled and she stayed… Alone…" he said "I'm a coward…".

Twilight stood up, walked up to him and when she was in front of him she slapped him with her hoof.

"You're not a coward!" she cried "You're 'the crimson armored stallion', 'the nightmare of monsters', the one who fought, without fear, one of the 'Corrupt Hereos'! You're a living legend! You're afraid of nothing!".

Knight looked at her. Tears were rolling down over her cheeks, but she had a tough look into those purple eyes.

"I'm not giving up…" he mumbled "No! I can't give up! I didn't give up when the dragon torn my leg out of my body!".

"And you didn't give up when those ghosts, monsters and whatever you faced were around you!" Twilight and Emerald said together.

All of them hailed Knight and that made he think. "I was always alone… But now I have friends with me!".

"We can do this!" he said and everypony cheered.

But after that the protection bubble went down and screams could be heard at the city below.

"What?" Rainbow Dash said "Already?".

All of them ran to the window and saw what the reason for the screams was.

Centaurs were walking on the streets weaving their weapons and crushing the floor.

Soldiers were fighting, or trying to drive them back, but with no success. There were other ponies fighting at the centaurs side. The great majority of them were unicorns and there were few pegasi, but no earth pony.

The door of the throne room broke open and two centaurs advanced throwing soldiers away. One of them had a gray skin, red mane and red eyes, he was holding a giant war hammer. The other one was a female. She had a blue mane, purple skin and pink eyes, she was cute, for a monster. She was holding a big sword.

"Open the way for the Queen!" the female centaur shouted.

And there she was. A navy alicorn. She was wearing necklace similar to Luna's but hers was red and had a skull of a pony in the center of the dark circle, which was in the middle of her chest. Her eyes were red and yellow and her mane was similar to Celestia's, but instead of happy colors they were faded and dark ones.

She was giving the ponies who were in the hall a dark smile. At her side there was a female alicorn, smaller then her. She had white mane and dark-grey skin, her eyes were red and she looked like she had been through many beatings and tortures. She was also attached to a waist chain, which prevented her to open her wings.

"What?" Knight looked terrified "No…".

The navy alicorn stayed in the center of the hall and looked to them.

"Greetings my fellow brothers and sisters…" she said "I'm Dark Amber and I'm here to take over Equestria for the great Empire of the Dark Sun!".

Three centaurs arrived through the doors. They were carrying a really big instrument, which was wrapped into cloth. Then another centaur arrived just behind them, this one was a big one. He had no mane, his skin was crimson and his eyes were black.

"Finally!" he said "We're here!".

"Quiet Ankol!" Dark Amber shouted "It isn't the time yet!".

"Yes your majesty." Ankol, the centaur, said with an evil smile.

She turned again to the ponies and smiled.

"So… Celestia…" she provoked "It's time for you to lend your kingdom to me. You can do nothing before my personal guard here" she pointed the centaurs "Your only option is surrender…".

The alicorn at her side lifted her head and looked directly to Dark Knight. Her eyes went down to tears and she started to cry.

"Knight!" she shouted "You're alive! Thank the heavens!".

Everypony looked to Knight, including Dark Amber. She seemed to be shocked.

"Ryla…" Knight said, he glared Dark Amber with a mad look "Is this what you do? You piece of shit! Let my sister go, or else I'll not promise that you'll see another sunshine!".
Emerald was shocked by his frenzy, but she had to admit that she would stay just like him. She was his sister after all.

"Dark Knight…" she said with an evil smile "So it's you… Finally… I've found you. My little stubborn baby…".

"WHAT?" everypony in the hall, except Knight and Ryla, shouted.

Silence reigned in the hall for a couple of seconds and…

"Wow…" Trip manifested "That's… Cliché…".

"T-Trip…" Skipper said almost losing his mind "It's not the hour for jokes…".

"What?" the white pony said "I'm just saying, it's just freaking typical!".

"Oh shut up you fools!" Dark Amber shouted at them. She looked outside to see that the sun was at his highest point in the sky and she smiled because of that "Ankol… It's time…".

The centaur advanced followed by the three other which were carrying the huge object.

They placed it on the floor and Ankol started to shout.

"All hail the dark lord. Master of the disharmony and creator of the centaurs!" the other centaurs were following him transforming the shouts into a pray.

Celestia seemed to freak out.

"You can't do that!" she screamed to Dark Amber "Stop them! Or we'll all die!".

Dark Amber just smiled at her.

"It's over…" Luna whispered "The world is ending…".

Everypony realized that she was looking outside and then they could know why she said that.

The sky was red and the sun was turning black. There were no birds like an minute ago.

There were no nature sounds, or nothing else. There were just the hymn of the centaurs and the sound of the land tearing itself apart.

The floor of the city cracked and a huge fissure appeared. A horrible sound came out of it. A shout.

"Behold your God now Celestia…" Dark Amber said "Behold the God of us all!".

Fire and darkness spread out of the fissure and a giant, more or less twenty feet, centaur skeleton raised from it. It was awful, instead of hooves on the front legs it had huge unicorn heads with their mouth spread open.

His bones finally began to create flesh from nowhere. Smoke was coming out of it and a terrible noise, a moan, was heard. Finally the skin started to appear, but it didn't have a normal mane. It was orange fire that rose from his skull, eyeballs, flank and hooves.

The object in the middle of the hall started to shake and the cloth was incinerated revealing a huge scythe. Then the weapon flew across the wall and reached the giant centaur's hand. In his tail appeared a flaming pony head.

He shouted and the earth quaked.

"It's the end…" Celestia said with a terrified voice "He's here…".

"Who's he?" Twilight asked besides her legs were shaking and her eyes filled with tears.

All the ponies in the hall were scared, tears, shaking legs and frightened faces. They were facing a huge centaur who rose from the floor and quaked the land with only but a shout.

"He's…" Celestia tried "… what my father feared that would come back… He's the creator of Discord and the nemesis of the Elements of Harmony… He's…".

But the giant spoke first with an dreadful smile on his face.

"Death…" his voice was terrifying, it sounded like thousands of blades colliding with each other followed by an big explosion "My name is Death…".

----------------------------------Back to the Present-------------------------------------

Holly ran into Dark Knight and Price holding them in a hug.

"Daddy…" she said to a surprised, but happy, Dark Knight "Is this true? Price is my brother?".

Knight just smiled and she knew it was true.

"This is…" Holly and Price hugged and smiled "… the best day ever!".

Knight just laughed. Finally his son and his daughter could be together.

"Things will be better now Price…" Holly told her brother "We'll be together forever… With mom, dad, Twilight and all of our friends… We'll be happy!".

"I couldn't ask for more…" Price said "Thanks sis… Thanks dad…".

Holly kissed Price's cheek and hugged him tight.

"You're welcome bro…" she said.

And with that Knight stood up and looked at them clearing his tears.

"Come on my little ponies…" he called "We've to tell your mothers about this!".

He ran with Price and Holly just behind him.

Everything was perfect…
