MLP-The Abstract Apocalypse. Phase II: Chapter X

THE LIVING AND THE DEATH.

Twilight was walking around in the throne room when a sudden wind came from the windows and a loud voice came.

“Twilight!” she heard Spike calling her desperately “Help!”

The purple princess ran outside followed by Pinkie Pie and the other three Princesses. They went through the door and saw Spike lying on the ground holding a grey Rarity on his hands.

When they saw the colorless Generosity holder they gasped and Twilight approached her trying to examine what happened.

“What happened?” Celestia asked the purple Dragon.

Spike looked at her.

“It was a mare that we fought…” he said “How did she called herself? The Zombie Queen! Yes, she said that she was the ruler of the Dark Hoof Brotherhood!”

Celestia stepped back with her mouth opened.

“What she said she was called?” Luna asked him.

Spike looked up trying to remember, but he soon snapped his fingers.

“She said ‘Guleh’” He said and Celestia sat down.

Her legs were shaking and her mouth begin to feel dry. Her eyes were lost looking at nowhere specific, lost in the mists of her own memory.

“She used a spell that I’ve never seen before!” Twilight said worried “I don’t know how to cure her Spike!”

Luna looked at her sister and felt worried, she have never seen her like that. The Princess of the Night stepped closer to Rarity and examined her closely.

“What!?” Spike roared “What do you mean!? You know every single spell ever written! How can you not know!?”

Twilight looked upset at Spike.

“I’m not omniscient Spike!” she said “I might know lots of spells, but there are some that are lost in-”

“Necromancy…” Luna said “This spell is a variety of Necromancy, a really deep and dark one.”

All looked at her in disbelief.

“Luna.” Twilight said “Necromancy died thousands of years ago. They were extinct! Star Swirl got rid of many Necromancers and so did you and Celestia!”

Celestia stood up shaking the thoughts off her head and walking up to her sister and her apprentice.

“Bella Rosa was a prodigy…” she said “She was my student before Sunset Shimmer… But she, found something that she shouldn’t have found… And…”

Celestia touched Rarity’s horn with hers and it glowed golden, her horn sucked off the dark magic from the white unicorn’s whole body to her own. Her muscles shivered and she started to sweat a lot. When she finished she sat on the ground panting and Rarity had her normal white color and was breathing normally.

“Tia…” Luna said putting her hoof over her sister’s shoulder “Are you sure you can…”

“I have to!” she said exhausted “Rosa is my responsibility… I made her what she is today…”

Twilight looked at her teacher confused as Celestia got up and leaned over Luna panting and sweating.

“Rosa was a great student, but…” she started “She found a book called the Necronomicon… And she read it… I had to expel her… Those who read that book will be influenced for life… Rosa died… Guleh was born…”

Celestia looked up and saw two pegasi flying towards them; she smiled when she recognized Price and Fluttershy.

“Kindness has arrived…” she said weakly.

They all looked up, smiled and cheered when they saw the two ponies arriving. They landed safely and Pinkie hugged both smiling a lot.

“I knew you two were going to make it!” she said happily.

Fluttershy blushed a bit and Price smiled. Soon Nicole, Stella and Flame Jewel arrived. The little filly smiled and ran towards them and hugged Price.

“Big brother!” she said happily as Price wrapped her in a hug.

“Oooh! There’s my lil’ sis!” he looked at Nicole and smiled “Thank you for taking care of her.”

She blushed slightly and smiled.

“It was my pleasure.” She said.

“Now we just need to wait for Holly and Applejack and Rainbow Dash and Gilda.” Stella said “I hope they are ok…”

Cadance looked at her and smiled.

“Applejack and Holly are with Princess Ryla, and with the armies of Auroram” she said “They have the Element and are coming home, Silver Voice told us that.”

Stella sighed relieved and putted her hoof over her chest while smiling.

“So we just have to thrust in Rainbow Dash, since Blaze already has the Element of Magic.” Twilight said.

Price looked at The Princesses and putted a serious face on.

“Your Highnesses…” he said “Me and Fluttershy faced a pony named Shadow Moon to get her Element.”

The two sisters looked over to him with surprised faces.

“You don’t mean the…” Luna said “The Queen of Pain…”

Price nodded.

“If we she’s allied with Guleh…” Celestia tried besides her weakness “We can assume she’s allied with the Centaurs… This isn’t good…”

Pinkie jumped in the middle of the smiling and standing on her two back legs.

“Come on guys!” she said “It’s Rainbow Dash we are talking about! Of course she’ll get her Element back! She’s awesome!”

Rainbow Dash crashed against the ground followed directly by Gilda. They were covered in bruises, but were still ready for the fight.

“Damn it…” Gilda said piercing her sword on the ground and standing up again “This guy is though…”

Dash got up and looked over to their foe. A blue Centaur who was wearing small mask over his left eye. It was an odd object made out of silver metal and it had a blue jewel carved where the eye was supposed to be.

The monster was holding a huge mace on his left hand, but he wasn’t smiling.

“Foolish actions came from you two…” he said “You simply saw me and attacked… Know your enemy, but first know your limits…”

“Bite me…” Dash said smiling in defiance.

The centaur sighed and shook his head opening a small smile.

“I’m King Thörik.” He said “I’m the leader of the Centaur Armada and I’ll be the scourge of pony kind…”

Gilda smiled and waved her sword.

“Only over my dead body…” she opened her wings and Dash followed her when she dashed towards the Centaur.

The blue king smirked and shook his head slightly.

“Children…” he said looking ahead at them “They never learn…”

Dash made an abrupt curve and flew as quick as she could towards his right side while Gilda did the same towards his left side, but when they were about to hit him it happened again.

They lost all control over their body and crashed into each other flying towards the ground again and standing up again.

“Why can’t we hit him!?” Gilda punched the ground in anger and looked over to the Centaur.

“Twilight said that few Centaurs could use magic…” Dash said “I think this guy is one of the few…”

Thörik smiled slightly.

“You’re not wrong Rainbow Dash.” He said rising his right hand slowly pointing his finger towards them “I can use magic, but what is happening to you two is far more powerful then magic…”

His finger incinerated and he shot a fireball at them, but the light-blue Pegasus and the gryphon dodged it quickly getting ready for another attack. Dash flew up high into the sky while Gilda stood at a height that Thörik could see her.

“It’s useless…” he said.

Gilda smiled.

“You haven’t met RD yet…” Gilda said as she spat at his hooves “You’ll go down buddy!”

Thörik pointed his finger at her and the jewel on his mask glowed. Gilda felt a sting on the back of her neck and suddenly she could not move, but she was still in the air. The gryphon felt something touch her mind as she started to hear his voice calling for her, then suddenly she felt a great power and then she couldn’t move her limbs.

“You’re mine now.” Thörik smiled “Kill Rainbow Dash!”

It was then that Dash flew like a missile against the Centaur and a big Sonic-Rainboom exploded over him. The rainbow pony flew up and landed safely on the ground.

“Oh Yeah! Got him!” she said cheerfully “Did you see that  Gilda!? It was awesome!”

When the smoke started to fade she saw that Thörik was getting up and spitting some blood and smiling. Gilda landed in front of him and readied her sword.

“Get him G!” Dash said with a smile, but the gryphon turned to face her and Dash’s ears lowered.

Gilda’s eyes were blue, like the jewel on the Centaur’s mask and she had an angry face on. The gryphon turned around and dashed towards Rainbow who had to evade her piercing attack.
Dash flew up high in the air as Gilda turned and flew towards her waving her sword. The light-blue Pegasus flew towards Thörik preparing to strike him again.

“Release her!” she shouted.

The Centaur smiled and got ready.

“Why don’t you do it yourself, you stubborn brat!” he swung his mace and hit Dash in mid-air sending her meters away from him and Gilda followed her pal’s body that was rolling around.

The gryphon landed on top of her with her sword pointed at her muzzle and she had a murderous smile on her beak.

Thörik smiled again and waved his hand turning his back on them.

“Kill her.” He ordered and Gilda spread her wings wide and readied her sword.

Dash looked up to the possessed gryphon. She held her claw, which was holding her down, and looked into her completely blue eyes.

“I’m sorry G…” she said “I’m sorry we couldn’t reach an agreement when you came to visit Ponyville that time… Forgive me for not have paid attention towards your feelings, you jealousy… But after you left I… I wanted to say sorry for being that harsh… And I knew you would like to apologize as well…”

Gilda’s claw, the one holding the sword, started to shake a little and she started to sweat. Dash noticed that reaction and kept going.

“If all ends here how will we make up?” she said “I’m loyal to all my friends, I would follow them until the end of the world! That is no exception to you! Loyalty is not about choosing, like I did! It’s about knowing what’s right and help others fix it! It’s about being there when your friends need you!!”

The Centaur king looked back and pulled the Element of Loyalty from his necklace. The jewel was shining, bright as day. He looked over the two and smirked.

“Kill her already!” he ordered and Gilda lowered her sword.

Dash closed her eyes and when she reopened them she could say that it was relief to see the sword by the side of her head. The light-blue Pegasus looked at the gryphon and saw that her eyes were back in the normal color.

Gilda smiled and winked. Then suddenly she pulled the sword and dashed towards the Centaur.

“I’m not your puppet!” she shouted while slashing the string that held the Element of Loyalty. The gryphon girl caught it in the middle of the air, but she didn’t see one thing coming.

Thörik’s mace hit her hard and threw her body into a crystal that was behind Dash.

“G!” the Pegasus shouted and got up running after her friend.

Rainbow got near her and, ignoring the pain on her left hoof, lifted her gently. Gilda opened her eyes, two strings of blood running down her forehead and her both wings turned towards the wrong side. Besides all that she lifted her claw showing Dash her Element.

“Foolish way to get it back…” Dash looked back to see Thörik’s smile “I don’t need it anymore, everything is ready…”

A purple smoke appeared behind him and two ponies, a unicorn and a earth-pony, a mechanic Centaur and a figure that Dash knew well, Discord, appeared from it.

“So it’s time?” Guleh asked with a smile “They all got their Elements back~ Its fare that we also do.”

“Agreed.” Thörik said and turned around walking away from the two hurt friends “You’re welcome to see what will happen Rainbow Dash.”

“The Element of Loyalty is back with its owner.” Silver Voice said and all the ponies cheered.

Celestia let out a relief sigh and allowed herself a moment of relaxation. She looked around to all her subjects and friends; they were all smiling happily as if the tides of the war with the Dragons had turned completely. Knowing that the Elements were secure made their hopes go up high.

But suddenly the Princess of the Sun felt something. A chill flowing all over her spine as if someone was holding her waist and her neck. A chilling touch.

Then out of nowhere a loud sound, a loud “BANG” came from behind her throne.

Celestia and Luna jumped out of the way as their thrones were knocked away from the wall. Every pony got quiet and looked to that direction.

“N-No…” Luna said “I-It’s impossible…”

The white Alicorn was to surprised and afraid to say anything. She knew what was behind that wall, she ordered it to be built to hold of something she knew could never see Sun, or Moon light ever again.

Silver voice flinched and opened her blank eyes wide.

“D-Darkness!” she said and fell to the floor while the whole world seemed to shake.

Infinity stood still in place, her face showed some traces of anger and shock, she knew that power, that influence.

The ground started to quake as Dash tried to carry Gilda to somewhere safe and the nearest place she could find was the Crystal Palace’s balcony. She carefully placed her friend on the ground and looked over to where the Centaur king had gone with his associates and she saw. One thing she hadn’t pay attention while fighting. She saw a huge army.

Centaurs and ponies gathered around a clearing in the middle of the army where five spheres of energy where and by their side were the five that Rainbow had seen before.

Thörik was by the side of a red sphere, Guleh by the side of a purple sphere, Shadow Moon by the side of a pink sphere, Malakiya by the side of a light-blue sphere and Discord was by the side of an orange sphere.

“Wait…” Dash looked at them putting everything together “Those are the colors of the Elements! But why would they have that? Why would they need the power of the Elements of Harmony!?”

She looked over to Thörik, specifically because he had his arms wide open and looked like he was saying something. His gestures made seem like he was shouting, but Dash couldn’t hear what it was.

In the middle of the army Thörik was indeed shouting.

“And never again, after this day, those Princesses will never again be on our way!” he shouted “Never again, we’ll be forced to live in fear of these pathetic, authoritarian and selfish Alicorns! The time to judge their sins against us is finally here! Together my brothers and sisters we can create a new world! From the ashes of the world these weak minded and selfish Alicorns have created!”

All ponies and Centaurs cheered and raised their hooves and hands in the air.

“Now!” Thörik shouted “Let us bring forth the one that we all have been eager to follow into this battle! The one that will give us the blood of the Alicorns, and all the ones who stand with them! Our Lord will be whole again!”

The soldiers shouted in agreement and then suddenly they started chanting in a different language, not just the five that were in the circle, but the whole army.

Suddenly Dash had an urge to spread her wings and fly away carrying Gilda with her, but when she looked up to the sky that urge suddenly disappeared.

Dark clouds were forming some sort of a hurricane, but it wasn’t a normal hurricane. Dash being an expert on weather knew that it wasn’t a storm, or any weather anomaly. It was something more.

The five that were in the middle of the circle grabbed their spheres and with their other hands they seemed to summon another sphere each one. They then shouted a word that Dash couldn’t really understand and threw the ten spheres in the ground in front of them.
Then the sky cracked, literally.

Fissures in the sky appeared releasing black lights and other weird stuff that she couldn’t even start to comprehend. Weird faces screaming in pain and a mumble. A distant and terrifying mumble.

Then she could hear a shout coming from the middle of the army, it was Thörik’s voice.

“RISE ONCE MORE!” he shouted “RISE AND DESTROY THOSE WHO DEFIED YOU! RISE LORD OF DARKNESS! RISE ALL MIGHTY!!”

The ground quaked as a crack appeared on the floor in the middle of the Centaur Armada. The dark clouds got closer and closer as more weird things were leaking through the fissures in the sky.

“Dash!” she heard a male voice and when she turned she saw Thunder Blade “Come on! We got to go!”

She ran to him and helped Gilda up.

“What’s happening!?” she asked, but all Thunder did was too give her a blank worried look.

He held Gilda as well and prepared, but before he could teleport something erupted from the floor in the middle of the Armada.

A massive Centaur skeleton who had pure red eyes and roared in anger and pain. The dark clouds, as if they were some sort of lightening, hit the humongous skeleton and his bones started to grow flesh.

His scream of pain was suddenly replaced by a shout of triumph as his skin started to boil through the muscles and his coat started to become pale white.

He roared once more spreading his arms wide open as a silver metallic shell was forming around his chest, shoulders, arms and hands. He opened a terrifying smile and shouted once more making the whole world quake and shattering the sky more and more.

“THUNDER!!!” Dash shouted “GET US OUT OF HERE!!!”

The Mind Unicorn snapped off his trances and teleported, but when they arrived in Canterlot the wall behind the thrones exploded and a huge Scythe flew by them and all the other ponies killing some guards and shattering a whole wall and some stained glass.

“YOU KEPT IT HERE!?” Thunder shouted at Celestia “I TOLD YOU TO THROW IT INTO TARTARUS!”

Celestia was paler then her normal white as she sat on the floor trying to put her thoughts together. But fear was taking possession of her body.

“He wasn’t white…” Dash said “He was dark… His eyes were orange… He wasn’t like that!”

Luna tried to speak, but nothing came out of her mouth, her throat was dry as a desert and her mind couldn’t process what was happening.

“He’s almost at his full potential…” Celestia said “Black and red eyes… Pale coat… Silver armor… He’s back… Father I’m sorry… I’m sorry all of pony kind…”

She looked over the hole on the wall and sighed again. Then she got up looking determined again. Her mane waving and shining like it never had shone before. Her eyes, besides the tears that were flowing, had determination on. The White Alicorn just stood there, in silence.

Staring at the end of the world.

Staring right back at her, miles and miles away, near the Crystal Empire, was a huge monster. A pale Centaur who’s mane was like black fire. His eyes burning with the same flames and a devious smile on his face.

He held a huge silver Scythe, one of the most feared weapons in the world.
Behind him a huge army cheering and shouting, but the only thing he could hear was the sound of the wind in this world he was finally back on.

He closed his eyes for a moment.

“I sense fear…” he said with a deep, strong and piercing voice “I sense chaos… I sense destruction…”

He stopped for a few seconds and opened his eyes which exposed some sort of new flame.

“I feel…” he said “Death…”
